Can a country table predict your Shorts revenue?
A country label does not establish a fixed Shorts RPM. We have no audited dataset supporting the previous country and niche payout ranges on this page. Those ranges have been removed. A useful comparison starts with your own channel's reporting period, currency and eligible views.
YouTube's Shorts monetization policy describes allocations based on eligible engaged views within each country. This explains why audience geography can matter, but it does not provide a universal table forecasting your payout.
Prepare a comparison worksheet
| Field | Record |
|---|---|
| Date range | Same complete period for every comparison |
| Currency | One reporting currency |
| Content type | Shorts separately from long-form |
| Revenue | Measured channel revenue |
| Views | Corresponding metric used for the calculation |
| Sample limitations | Missing or small country groups |
Do not combine revenue from one month with views from another. If the platform does not provide a compatible revenue and view breakdown for a country, leave the RPM unavailable. Dividing incompatible reports creates a number with little practical meaning.
Avoid the tier shortcut
Labels such as Tier 1 and Tier 3 vary between marketing reports. They hide differences within countries and imply a precision the data may not support. Choosing a language only because a table promises higher earnings also ignores whether you can research, narrate and edit effectively for that audience.
Treat a different country's result as a hypothesis to investigate. Check the audience problem, language quality and production costs before changing the channel. Geography alone does not show that an audience wants your videos.
Use scenarios when data is missing
The RPM calculator is a scenario tool. Its default values are illustrative inputs, not an audited country forecast. Replace them with measured figures when available and record which inputs are assumptions. For one million eligible views, revenue in a scenario equals assumed RPM multiplied by 1,000.
Keep an optimistic scenario separate from the baseline. A budget should remain understandable if the hoped-for audience shift does not happen. Include provider costs and editorial time to decide whether the workflow is sustainable.
Production and review
Forgen is in testing for Windows creators who want scripts, voiceovers, AI scenes and editable CapCut projects. It cannot establish your RPM or monetization eligibility. Join the waitlist if you want to test this production workflow.
