Batch Create YouTube Shorts on PC: A Review Workflow
Batch production works best when each item has a clear status. A folder containing many exported files does not tell you which scripts were checked, which scenes failed or which videos are ready to publish.
Build a small production board
| Status | Evidence required to move on |
|---|---|
| Script ready | Complete narration and checked facts |
| Media ready | Required scenes present and identifiable |
| Draft ready | Audio and visuals open in the editor |
| Approved | Export watched from beginning to end |
Use a separate project directory for each video. Give scripts and exports stable identifiers so a retry cannot overwrite an approved item. Begin with a small batch and measure actual elapsed time, including corrections, before promising a daily output target.
When a scene fails, record the missing scene and preserve the valid assets. Review the next batch size against your available editing time, provider limits and disk space. The useful result is a queue of approved videos, not a large count of unfinished drafts.
Where Forgen fits
Forgen is a Windows product in testing that works from your complete story toward narration, scenes and an editable CapCut draft. Review the result and test editor compatibility. Its workflow includes connected services; local files do not imply offline generation, free provider usage or unlimited throughput. Plan the narration with the word counter and join the waiting list for launch information.
